NBC cops Richard Belzer, Mariska Hargitay and Emmy Award-nominee Jerry Orbach are paying tribute to their real-life counterparts at the National Association of Police Organization's seventh annual "Top Cops" Awards.
Belzer, who plays the world-weary Munch, will emcee the awards show that honors real-life police heroes on Aug. 5 in Washington D.C. Other stars of Peacock cops shows expected to be in attendance are: Coby Bell, Michael Beach, Bobby Cannavale, Anthony Reuivivar and Skipp Sudduth of "Third Watch"; Hargitay, Christopher Meloni, Dann Florek and Michelle Hurd of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit"; and Jesse L. Martin and Orbach from "Law & Order."
The event specifically honors law enforcement personnel who have been nominated nationally for their acts of heroism and bravery. |
